Clottey picks Pacquiao ahead of Mayweather

Former International Bantamweight Federation Champion, Joshua Clottey believes Manny Pacquiao will be a tough contender for undefeated WBA Champion, Floyd Mayweather, when the two greats mount the ring on Saturday May 2.

Clottey, who fought Pacquiao in 2010 believes the his trickery and ferocious punches will be key when the two mount the ring.

According to Joshua Clottey, though Mayweather is rough and a decent boxer, he will find it difficult to beat the Pound for Pound king.

“I have fought with Pacquiao and I know how good he is, he is fast, throws a lot of punches and I know that is his strength.

Pacman will be difficult for Mayweather because although he is undefeated, I think this is the first time he will be facing an opponent of such pedigree in boxing and it is going to be an exciting bout but I will go for Pacman,” Clottey said.
