Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Frank Nuttall says he isn’t bothered by news that some of his key players have decided not to renew their contracts.
Nuttall, who returned to Ghana on Tuesday after holidays in his native Scotland, was in charge of the team’s training session on Wednesday. For him, the players had every right to leave since they were adults and knew what they wanted in their respective careers.
“I don’t think this is a big deal as people make it sound. The players know what they want and which direction they want their careers to take in the coming season, so they decided to leave. Its normal everywhere” Nuttall told FootballMadeInGhana.com.
“I am aware of the fact that the club engaged most, if not all of them in the bid to renew their respective contracts, but the players, like I said know what they want and decided not to sign. This should rather be seen as a positive activity since we had a very good season last year and most of them improved tremendously” he said.
