Ghana and Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has credited his rapid development in the game of football to former Under-17 coach Frimpong Manso.
The former Black Stars stalwart defender was the first coach to offer Rahman a national call-up into the national U-17 team, the Black Starlets, some eight years ago.
Rahman is now a fixture in the Black Stars and has praised Manso for the opportunity.
“In my growth I think during the Under-17 time, Frimpong Manso did a great job with us, always playing football and we got used to playing football leading to our development”, he told Starr Sports.
Meanwhile, there have been reports of a possible loan move for Rahman with Fenerbahce and Besiktas reportedly interested in the defender.
