Coach of Eleven Wonders Abdul Gamel Mumuni has admitted that the difference in class between his team and Premier League Champions Aduana was telling in their 3-1 defeat on Thursday.

Bright Adjei, Noah Martey, and new signing Oba Ikama were all on target for the ‘Ogya’ club before Larbi Koomson got the consolation goals for Wonders from the penalty spot five minutes to full time.

The result meant that Aduana are through to the knockout phase of the competition while Eleven Wonders are eliminated with one game to play in the group stages.

Coach Gamel told reporters in his post match reaction that, “playing against the Premier League Champions wasn’t easy, if you look at Aduana’s level they are ahead of us”

He also said he is very happy his team was able to participate in the tournament despite bowing out very early.

Eleven Wonders will take on Dreams FC in their last match of the tournament after which they continue preparations ahead of the new season.
