Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus is optimistic about his future at West Ham United under new manager Julen Lopetegui, gearing up for his second season with the club following a standout debut year.
The departure of David Moyes has ushered in Lopetegui as the new head coach, a change Kudus embraces confidently.
“His [Lopetegui's] style is how I want to play, how I want to attack as a winger and there is a lot of freedom, which allows me to do that," he told whufc.com.
"That is the most important thing for me - that I’m allowed to play how I want to.
"He has different tactics and a different style, but we are all working together to push the club to the level where we want it to be."
The Right to Dream Academy graduate proved indispensable for the Hammers last season, featuring in 48 matches across all competitions. His impressive tally of 18 goals and seven assists underscored his pivotal role in the squad.
Kudus, crowned Europe’s top dribbler for the 2023/24 season, secured further acclaim by clinching West Ham’s Goal of the Season accolade.
