Coach threatens to send Adansiman to court

Koforidua, Feb. 13, GNA - Sullemana Leve, a local coach based in Koforidua, popularly called 91Osama' has threatened to take the management of Adansiman Football Club, a Division One club to court over the non-payment of his salary and other financial entitlements. Coach Leve who supported his claim with a letter of engagement by the Club, said he was signed on by the Club in February 2006 to be paid a monthly salary of two million cedis and a signing fee of 35 million cedis.

He said after taking over the job and coaching the Club for eleven months the management of the Club failed to pay his salaries and the signing on fee.

Coach Leve said he had to abandon the last two matches of the Club because the management could not get him an accommodation to stay at the base of the team.

When the Chairman of Adansiman Football Club, Mr Thomas Fosu was contacted by the GNA Sports for his reaction, he explained that it was the coach who promised that if was engaged, he could get a rich Chairman from Koforidua to manage the team and pay his salary.

Mr Fosu said coach Leve failed to get the Club the promised rich chairman and he also had no resources to pay for the salary.
