Vincent in a dominant display shot an incredible 4-under 68 to continue his streak of wins in the Taysec September medal campaign for 2012(Three medal victories so far). Playing on a daring handicap 1, Vincent cruised to a bogeyless back-nine after he sank birdies on par 5-tenth, par 4-eleventh, amidst series of pars and a lavish eagle on par-5 fifteenth in the Men A Division. “I constructed a long shot on hole 15 that travelled over 300 yards”, he said, adding: “I moved on to make an approach second shot that saw the edge of the hole, and went on to chip in for eagle.”
The front nine however, was not a walk over for Vincent as he dropped a point on hole 6 after he parred the first five holes. However, a birdie on hole 7 brought him back into a whirlwind contention as he was dealt with another bogey on hole 8 en route to a par on hole nine.
Y. Assan-Sam returned a net score of 71 off 11 for second place finish.
