College Hoops 2013 at Lizzy Sports Complex

Proton Sports Limited (PSL) will organize the Fourth College Hoops Inter Schools Basketball competition for Under 17 boys..

The year’s competition will see eight schools participate. They include Mfantsipim School, Ghanata Secondary School, Adisadel College, Akosombo International School, Achimota School, St Peter’s Secondary School, Prempeh College and Koforidua Technical School.

These eight schools are divided into two groups of four each for the preliminary stage of all-play-all.

Two schools qualify from each group, making it to the next stage of the competition, the semifinals.

Finally, winners of the two semifinals matches will meet in the grand final.

There is also an after party. The after party is held in a well spacious room provided at the same venue, to ensure that the crowd doesn’t diminish as the day goes on.

This year’s One Day event is slated for 11th June, 2013 at the plush Lizzy Sports Complex at 9:30am prompt..

Organizers of the event, Proton Sports Services are a sports marketing and management consultancy firm which deals in Events Management, Sports Legal Services among others based in Accra Ghana with operational divisions in the United Kingdom and Germany.

Basketball is a very popular sport in Ghana. It is more popular at the High school level as most students follow the NBA league in the United States of America.
