Columbus Crew have confirmed their defender Harrison Afful has received an invitation to play in Ghana’s international double-header friendly against Peru and Canada next month.
The 29-year-old is a constant figure in the national team following impressive displays over the years.
The Major League Soccer confirmed he will play against the two countries next month.
“Afful is slated to join Ghana ahead of two international friendlies, with both taking place in Washington, D.C. The Black Stars face-off against Peru
(October 9) and Canada (October 13),” the club’s official website confirmed.
The Black Stars are billed to play Peru on October 8 before taking on Canada for the first time five days later in Washington.
