Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has apologized to the fans of the club after their elimination from this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian giants got kicked out of CAF’s second tier club competition after losing 6-7 on penalties to CARA Club in Congo – the two legs ended 1-1.

Annan during the shootouts saved three penalties and scored his own kick, but some of his outfield players failed to bury their kicks.

And after the game, the former WAFA gloves man took to his official Twitter page and apologized to the club’s fans for their failure to progress to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

"Sad But Not Broken! We Lost As A Team After Giving Our Best! Our Best Just Wasnt Enough!Sorry We Disappointed ???????? & The Fablous Family! We Shall Keep Working Hard To Make This Club Great As It Is!We Learn From This Hard Time!!God Bless Us All", he wrote.

Kotoko are expected to arrive in Ghana from Congo on Thursday evening.
