Nsoatreman FC General Manager Eric Alagidede expressed belief in his team, stating that his side is capable of competing in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The FA Champions will be Ghana's sole representative in the second-tier African inter-club competition.

According to Alagidede, Dreams FC's incredible run has changed the narrative about debutants in the Confederation Cup.

“I don’t think the Confederation Cup is above us. There would have been doubts if one had predicted Dreams FC’s group stage spot last season, but they went and it happened,” he told Kessben FM.

Nsoatreman qualified for the competition after beating Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 on penalties, following a one-all draw after extra time in the FA Cup final.

They were paired with the Chadian side Elect Sport in the first preliminary round draw of the Confederations Cup.

They will host Elect Sport in Ghana in the first leg before visiting Chad to complete the tie.
