Captain of Ghana’s Black Queens Elizabeth Addo has joined the team of stars who have added their voice to heighten awareness about how to stay safe in the wake of the novel coronavirus storm that has shaken the world.

The coronavirus has taken the entire world aback with the death rate now above 11,000. Ghana has so far recorded 19 cases of Covid-19 in the last 10 days with contact tracing exceeding 600.

The rate at which the virus keeps spreading across has led to almost all sporting events being postponed until situations improve.

To stay safe and ensure the rate of infection is significantly beat down, the WHO and other well-meaning agencies have embarked on campaigns to sensitize people on several safe practices.

It is in this light that the Ghana Football Association has initiated the KickitOut Campaign to fight Covid-19.

Already Ghanaian internationals like Thomas Partey, Kassim Adams, Andy Yiadom and others have teamed up with the GFA to share encouraging messages and health and safety tips through videos to Ghanaians the world at large.

The Jiangsu Suning forward in her video communicated tips on how to stay safe, well wishes to infected persons and sounded positive that the world will win the fight against the deadly and highly contagious disease.
