Chief Executive Officer of Bahmed Travel and Tours, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh has labelled president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi as a corrupt person.

Nyantakyi, who doubles as the CAF 1st vice president, was arrested over fraud allegations last Wednesday.

It follows a complaint by President Akufo-Addo to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service for allegedly using the President’s name fraudulently.

The complaint follows an investigative piece, dubbed ‘expose Number 12 video’, by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Sources at the presidency say Akufo-Addo and his team watched excerpts of the video in which Nyantakyi was seen negotiating for an amount of money using the name of the president.

Speaking to Ohene Bampoe–Brenya on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Alhaji Bandoh entreated the nation’s football governing body head to vacate his seat in order to avoid further humiliation in the aftermath of the video premiering on June 6.

“Nyantakyi should resign because he is a corrupt person. He shouldn’t wait for the premiering before resigning because it could cause him more harm. I know why I’m saying this and when the time is right I will tell the whole world of the reasons for this suggestion,” Alhaji Bandoh told Happy FM.

“Nyantakyi is known to be a corrupt person all over the world. He and the general secretary of the GFA, Isaac Addo are corrupt people, I’m aware of all the dirty dealings that went on in the US, but I will not say more.”
