Accra, Oct 7, GNA - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed officials from DR Congo for the CAF Confederation Cup clash between El-Merrikh of Sudan and Kumasi Asante Kotoko next weekend. Information gathered by GNA Sports from the CAF Secretariat has it that Musungayi Mpunga will direct affairs from the middle. Mpunga will be assisted by compatriots Longa Longa and Miboti Moise with Leya Mbila serving as the fourth referee.
Ugandan Charles Massembe will be the Match Commissioner for the clash billed for the El-Merrikh Stadium in Omdurman, Sudan. In a related development, the match between Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia and J.S. Kabylie of Algeria will be handled by Libyan officials. Ambaya Jamal will be at the centre of affairs to be assisted on the lines by compatriots El Maghrabi Foaad and Mohamed Naseraidin with Mohamed Ragab as the fourth referee.
Moroccan Mohamed Moufid will act as the Match Commissioner for the game billed for the Olympic Stadium in Sousse. The winner of the Group B encounters will largely depend on the outcome of these matches.
