Spokesperson for the FIFA/CAF Liaison team Dan Kwaku Yeboah has been honored by the Institute of African Studies of the University of Ghana (Legon) for his contribution and impacting knowledge in the youth through writing and reading.

The renowned broadcaster was among three selected astute journalists in the country honored by the institution during the launch of the 2018 Accra International book festival.

The editor of Sports for Peace FM who doubles as the editor in chief for the Ghana Sports Newspaper was acknowledge for his latest book on the late EK Afranie where he streamlined the achievements, success and biography of the celebrated Ghanaian Coach who passed on last year.

His write-up was one of the three singled out in about fifth entries that was brought in for screening.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah together with ace news caster Gifty Anti (Host of Stand Point Show) as well as Citi FM’s morning show host Bernard Avle were the three selected among the best in the country by the AIBF.

The ceremony was graced by the likes of Prof. Esi Sutherland-Addy, Dean for the Institute of African Studies (Legon), Lanchester University chancellor Professor Anthony Jarvis, Tourism Minister Catherine Afeku as well as Nana Ansah Kwao, husband of Gifty Anti who is also a renowned broadcaster.

The Accra International Book Festival is a nonprofit charitable organization established to foster a love of books, reading and writing among Ghanaians of all background and ages.
