Simba FC Ghanaian goal keeper Daniel Agyei is confident of lifting the Tanzania FA Cup after a brilliant run in the competition.
The former Medeama SC shot stopper kept four clean sheets en route to the finals and is confident of lifting the trophy over the weekends when Simba FC take on Mbao Football Club in the final showdown.
The acrobatic goalie earned nominations for the best foreign goal keeper in the league after a near perfect season on his debut season. The Ghanaian goalie is in contention with Owen Chiama and Youthe Rofstand for the best foreign gloves in the division ahead of the FA Cup clash on Saturday.
The Simba SC agile custodian could not hide his excitement at the prospect of lifting the FA cup and the best goal keeper outside Tanzania soil.
“Its been pretty exciting for me. Its always a challenge when you play away from home. But I settled in quickly.
Tanzanian football is very high and the quality is good. The coaches , officials and the fans have treated me well and I’m happy here”, Daniel Agyei told Sports Crusader exclusively
The Ghanaian import has been on top of his game since arriving at Simba FC smashing records in the domestic competition as far as clean sheets are concerned.
