Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei played a key role in Leyton Orient’s impressive 4-1 victory over Stockport County in English League One action on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Agyei, who started and played for 84 minutes, was instrumental in the win at Edgeley Park, contributing both a goal and an assist as Leyton Orient dominated the encounter.

The visitors struck early, with Ethan Galbraith opening the scoring just 12 minutes into the match. Galbraith quickly added another five minutes later, giving Leyton Orient a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.

Stockport County showed signs of life in the second half, pulling one back through Jack Diamond in the 50th minute.

However, Agyei restored Leyton Orient's advantage, scoring a crucial goal before providing an assist for Sean Clare’s 81st-minute strike, which sealed the victory.

It was the striker’s first goal and assist of the season, and he will hope to build on it.
