Asante Kotoko midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has revealed his ambitions of winning the CAF Confederations Cup with the club.
The Porcupine Warriors begin the journey in this seasons competition with a trip to Kenya to play Kariobangyi Sharks.
The 30 year old, who won the competition twice with Congolese giants TP Mezembe disclosed winning the competition with the record Ghanaian champions has been his target.
"I'm optimistic we will get closer to the (CAF Confederations Cup) trophy, we are in good shape and we have the confidence to play. I won two CAF Confederations Cup trophies and a Champions league trophy at TP Mezembe and I want to do same now at Kotoko," he told Fox FM in Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors left Ghana for Kenya on Tuesday for the first leg of the round of 1/16th stage clash with Kariobangyi Sharks.
The Porcupine Warriors play the Kenyan outfit in the first leg of the second preliminary round at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya.
The Porcupines Warriors will arrive in Kenya on Wednesday afternoon hoping to garner a favourable result in the first leg to take into the second fixture slated for the Baba Yara Stadium on December 22, 2018.
