Ghana forward David Accam believes a change in approach to how the Black Stars prepare for international competitions can help the nation end her long title drought.
The West Africa powerhouse have failed to win any major silverware since 1982, where they defeated host nation Libya 7-6 on penalties in the African Cup.
According to the Philadelphia Union marksman, Ghana can come good in tournaments again if certain procedures can be improved upon.
“We have some of the best young players in Europe and have a team capable of beating any other in Africa."
“We need to prepare well and that’s the main issue because we don’t prep[are well."
“The new management and technical team are doing a really good job."
“They are doing all that is necessary for us to do well at the next Afcon."
Ghana missed out on a ticket to this year's FIFA World Cup in Russia following an underwhelming qualifying campaign.
