Ex-Black Starlets Coach David Duncan is unperturbed by Great Olympics’ threat to report him to the Ghana FA Status Committee, stating that there is no contract binding him to the club.
Olympics is keen on taking legal action against Coach Duncan following the former Hearts of Oak and Free State Stars trainer’s decision to absent himself from the Wonder club’s pre-season training after December 19 last year.
“I have not short-changed them. Between me and Olympics, the marriage had not started in the first place because there is no contract that shows that I have to be with Olympics. We were only courting,” Duncan told Happy FM.
“I can tell you for a fact that it was a challenge I was looking forward to seriously. If I was using Olympics to make my money, I wouldn’t have decided to lose Ghc21, 000. I was prepared to let the Ghc21, 000 go because I wanted to start working immediately,”
Coach David Duncan started supervising the Agosu lads’ pre-season training in October last year and was later joined by assistant Winfred Dormon after penning a Memorandum of Understanding with the club.
