Decathlon Ghana, the largest Sports equipment store company in West Africa donated footballs, trophies, bags and jerseys to support this year’s edition of the 2017 Private Schools Football gala held at the Lizzy Sports Complex over the weekend.
The vision of the Private Schools Football gala is to unearth and develop talents.
Twelve private schools including Christ the King, Grace Preparatory School, Al-Rayaan, East Airport International among others participated in the soccer competition which was divided into two categories U-16 and U-12.
After hours of showcasing football prowess in the U-16 category, Grace Preparatory School emerged as the winners drubbing Al-Rayaan 5-0 in the final match.
The U-12 Champions East Airport won 3-1 on penalties against Christ the King to covert the trophy.
Event Sponsors Decathlon Ghana, Latex Foam, Vita Milk Ghana and many others awarded the MVP, best goal keeper, discovery of the tourney, and the highest goal scorer with trophies, bags, footballs and pillows for their fabulous performance both in the U16 and U 12 category.
Kwesi Tabury, the CEO of Decathlon Ghana, assured Ghanaian's that the company's aim is to promote healthy lifestyle among all Ghanaian's through sports,
