*....it first major nations trophy after 32 yrs.*
Since 1982 when Ghana won their last African nations championship .It's now
a voodoo to lift another triumph .But destiny is calling and lottery
stakers will say "chart na tooooooo".
*The last time Ghana won the trophy they were in the same group with Libya
and the two ended up in the tournament final. The group stage match
resulted in a 2-2 draw, jarawah and al -lssari scored for Libya while
George Alhassan and Samuel opoku nti got the equalizes for Ghana .
Surprisingly, Ghana and Libya played a 1-1 draw game in the on-going 2014
African nation's championship and will play in the final on Saturday
*Recounting back in 1982 squad asante kotoko had eight players in that team
and coincidentally in this year, asante kotoko have eight players .

*Furthermore ,Libya team in 1982 was coached by a foreign European lad from
Hungary Bela Goti and In this tournament Javier Clemente from spain is
their trainer .Ghana on the other hand had C.K Gyamfi a local coach
and Maxwell konadu currently.
*Moreover ,in Libya 82 Ghana semi final game against Algeria traveled to
extra time before blackstars won 3-2 and in 2014 extra time came to being
though penalties decided the faith of the match. The nations eliminated ended
with"ria" Nigeria ,Algeria ....
*Lastly ,then team had a player named Sampson "Gaddafi" Lamptey who played
for hearts of Oak and Micheal "Gaddafi "Akuffo is now in the modern day
squad .Also we may have a kotoko player scoring two goals in this on-going
tournament in Southafrica as kwabena Adusei who will not play in the
final is on two goals while Yahaya can end the tournament on two if he
scores a goal in the final match just like Samuel Opoku Nti now kotoko CEO
scored two goals in the 82 tournament.
Let hope it come to pass cause sometimes history don't count in football.
