Former Ghana and former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour has called on the organizers of the Ghana Premier League to put in efforts to make the league more attractive.

The highly rated former Ghana international in an interview on Citi-fm shockingly revealed that he had not been to a Ghanaian stadium in years due to the low quality of play in the League.

“Well for now I haven’t been in the stadium because sometimes it’s not about who you are going to watch but how the whole game is organized,” He said

“I was watching a game on TV Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, I was very impressed with the crowd but I wasn’t impressed with the game itself.”

“Because the quality of the game in my view was a little bit less and then those days you use to see Shamo Quaye and Joe Debrah, that’s rivalry but it’s no more there because you can’t find anyone with such quality.”

Kuffour is one of the celebrated ex-footballers with a reported wealth of over 20 million dollars.
