Three months after joining Scottish giants Rangers, Ghanaian youngster Joe Dodoo believes he is in the right environment to become an elite player.

The 21-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Gers from reigning English Premier League champions Leicester City in July, and has so far made four appearances in the Scottish top division.

Although having drawn blank in the topflight, the forward has two goals to his name in three League Cup outings for Mark Warburton's outfit.

"It’s great because we do analysis every day, sometimes even twice a day, and for me, I want to be in an environment where you are improving because that is they way to succeed in football," Dodoo told his club's official website.

“It’s important to see how people think about football, how they think about the game and how we’re going to break teams down because they won’t let us roll them over.

“It is a good standard of football here.

"It is very competitive and there is so much passion from the fans and the teams because everybody wants to beat Rangers."

Dodoo made just one appearance as Leicester won the Premier League last season.

That said, it is his stats in the League Cup that are eye-catching, having notched four goals in three appearances as the Foxes bowed out in the last 16.

He has indicated his desire to play for the Black Stars.
