Donsah Names His Top Four all-time Favourite Footballers

Godfred Donsah has named four great footballers as his all-time favourite.

The Cagliari starlet who has been on the radar of some top English Premiership sides named four midfield dynamos who have all played in the Premiership as his all-time favourite.

The 18 year old named fellow Ghanaian Michael Essien first on the list, Essien who is currently playing in Italy for AC Milan had his greatest moments at Chelsea when he played 168 times and scored 17 goals for the Blues. Donsah has always maintained his admiration for Essien and has labelled him as a long time mentor.

Claude Makelele is second on the list. Makelele has been seen as the one who redefined the defensive midfield role in English football during his time at Chelsea. He played 144 times and scored two goals for the Blues.

Patrick Vieira who is currently the manager of the reserve side for Manchester City is third on the list. The former French international was a heavy weight in midfield for Arsenal and played 279 games scoring 29 goals for the Gunners.

The fourth player named by Donsah is Mohammed “Momo” Sissoko. The 30 year old Milan international currently playing for Levante played 51 games for Liverpool and scored a goal during his stay at the club from 2005-2008.

Donsah revealed this on Twitter when he listed his top four favourite footballers of all time. The youngster who has been in top form for his club side Cagliari until his recent injury is hoping in following the great exploits of these players.

Donsah has not hidden his intention of also playing in the Premiership one day.
