Italian side Torino will move for Bologna's Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah as his compatriot Afriyie Acquah is set to leave the Turin side to join Birmingham City.
Birmingham City slapped in an offer of €8m to Torino for their want-away Ghanaian midfielder Acquah on Tuesday night.
This paves the way for Torino to swoop for Donsah who they have targeted as the replacement for Acquah who now looks set to move to England.
Bologna have settled on a €6 million transfer fee with Torino which means as soon as Birmingham make the payment for Acquah funds will be available for Donsah capture.
Donsah has agreed persons terms with the Italian side with reports suggesting he has passed a medical to the deal over the line.
The 21-year old will put his pen on the contract, just in time to get together with the squad ahead of the new season if Acquah's deal to England goes through.
After month of pulling and springing, negotiation has accelerated in the last couple of hours with the Ghanaian expected to join Torino, with a mandatory buy-back clause set at €6m.
