Former Black Stars midfielder, Nii Odartey Lamptey has stressed that Dr. Kwame Kyei should critically take a look at the people he is working with at Asante Kotoko.
Dr. Kyei, the Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko looks to be out of favor in the eyes of many followers of the club who continue to ask for his resignation.
The club is set to pay $30,000 to Esperance de Tunis as directed by FIFA or be demoted from the Ghana Premier League and into the lower division.
This many belief could have been avoided and has hence pushed the blame on Dr. Kwame Kyei and his current management team.
While the call for his resignation intensifies, Nii Odartey Lamptey has advised otherwise and has urged the bankroller to surround himself with the right materials if he wants to succeed.
“It is those around you that ensures the progress of the team and not the chairman. So I feel like he should take a critical look at the people he works with because, to be honest with you Dr. Kyei can’t do all the job.
“Though you are the CEO and you are the chairman, you should have people that can work with you.
“He should go back, try to get these people to help him succeed. H should get quality materials or quality management team that will be able to help him win over the supporters”, the former Anderlecht star said.
