Dreams FC were pegged back at home by a resilient Liberty Professionals in a 2-2 draw at the Dawu Park in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
The debutants looked like a side cruising to victory when striker Lawson Bekui bagged a brace to put them in front.
His first was stupendous header when he jumped to head in Aaron Amoah’s corner kick after a quarter of an hour.
This spurred them on and piled pressure but Liberty had the absorbers to deal with them.
But Liberty Professionals drew level on 32 from the spot when Bernard Arthur converted after Ben Nash Quansah had brought down Ebo Mends.
Just before the half-time whistle, Bekui gave the hosts the lead again when he rose above goalkeeper Samuel Kuuku to connect a long ball from midfield.
When all thought it was going to be three points in the bag, Liberty’s talisman Latif Blessing struck like thunder with a shot inside the box for the leveller on 80 minutes.
Dreams will host Medeama and Liberty Professionals will be at home to New Edubiase United.
