Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC will take on Ghana U23 side – The Black Meteors – in a friendly on Saturday at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

The game which will kick off at 8:30am will see the Ghana U23 side playing their second high profile game since they commenced preparations ahead of the U23 AFCON Qualifier with Algeria.

The game will also serve as a dress rehearsal for Dreams FC in anticipation of the next Ghana Premier League season.

The Black Meteors have been engaged in a series of low profile friendlies with the clash against Dreams FC set to be the second Premier League side they will play after their clash with Hearts Oak.

The Still Believe lads have been playing a number of low profile friendlies scoring 37 goals and conceding just 2 in 8 games so far.

The game will be used to assess some new players in the Dreams FC fold while Coach Ibrahim Tanko also uses it assess some of the foreign based players who have joined the side recently.

Ghana will play Algeria next month in the first leg of the final qualifier of the 2019 U23 AFCON Qualifier.

The winner of the two-legged encounter will qualify for the U23 AFCON Tournament to be staged in Egypt later this year.
