Deputy skipper of Hearts of Oak, Owusu Bempah has insisted that their 4-1 win over Dreams FC will serve as a morale booster ahead of next week’s Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians announced their readiness ahead of the domestic top-flight champions billed for 20th February, 2016 by thrashing league debutantes Dreams FC 4-1 in a two-sided friendly on Sunday at the Theater of Dreams at Dawu.

The Phobians recorded a 2-0 win over the newcomers with goals from left back Isaac IOduro and forward Kwame Kizito.

Striker Eric Kumi and new signing Mustapha Essuman found the back of the net in the second game for the visitors with Leonard Owusu fetching the consolation for the home side in the second game.

“It was a serious match and it is good there was no injury. The win will serve as a morale booster for us and we can have a good start in our league games,” Bempah said after the game.

Hearts of Oak had been very shambolic in their pre-season preparations until Coach Yatsuhashi fine-tuned the team after the FirsTrust G6 Tournament.

The team is yet to lose a match after the G6 Tournament.

The Phobians will host New Edubiase in their first game of the 2015/16 Premier League.
