Dugarry questions Ayew's Marseille commitment

Marseille great Christopher Dugarry has questioned the commitments of certain key players in the team including Andre Ayew.

Marseille have been dislodged from the top of the table by Paris Saint-Germain after recording two defeats and a draw in their last three matches.

The Black Stars winger has been far from convincing since he recovered from a shoulder injury and the 40-year-old former French international has lashed out at some of the players including Andre for showing little commitment to the club’s ambitions this season.

“Apart from Steve Mandanda, Mathieu Valbuena and Andre-Pierre Gignac, I expect to see more but the players are not good enough,” Dugarry told Canal + sports

“For me this team lacks talent. Andre Ayew is not showing hunger- where is he? Amalfitano the same. Where is he? Cheyrou, where is he also?

“He is a good player in Lique 1 but a great player should be able to pull up young, to incorporate them into the team.

“But this is not the case at the moment. Marseille are simply lacking players of international class.”

PSG are top of the table with a superior goal difference.
