Enterprising Ghanaian boxer, Duke Micah, has vowed to take Frenchman Yoann Boyeaux to the cleaners when the two square up in just a little over a week from today, Tuesday, 10 April.

Micah, who has been tipped by many boxing connoisseurs to win the bout, is in the final leg of his training in New York ahead of what is scheduled to be a final fight ahead of a potential world title fight later this year.

Micah has a record of 21 fights without a loss and is the WBC International Champion. The 26-year-old is eying one of the top four titles held by Ryan Burnett (WBA and IBF), Colombian Luis Nery (WBC) and South African Zolani Tete (WBO) in the Bantamweight Division.

“I honestly wish the fight would even come off tomorrow. As you know, I have been training for this bout for quite some time now, and as the day approaches, all I can do is to be upbeat. I have trained really hard, as victory would give me a chance to be a world champion”, he told ClassSports.

The two will face each other on 21 April at the Kings Theater in Brooklyn, New York.
