In-form Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan has been handed an opportunity to stake a claim for a permanent Black Stars slot in Tuesday’s friendly against Canada.
The 22-year-old could be handed a starting role in the absent of several key and regular players.
Duncan last earned a national team call-up three years ago under Kwesi Appiah in a pre-2013 Africa Cup of Nations friendly against Cape Verde in Lisbon.
He has been consistent for Sassuolo after the opening seven matches where he has made six starts.
Avram Grant has been admirer and will like to see if the Inter Milan trainee will pass the test.
Duncan played at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
