E/R Women' Soccer league kicks off on Sept 25

Koforidua, Sept. 1, GNA - This year's Eastern Regional Women's Soccer League takes off on September 25 and 26 at all the league centre in the Region.

A release from the Eastern Regional Women's Football Association made available to the GNA Sports at Koforidua on Tuesday said 13 clubs had registered to take part in the league and they have been grouped in three zones.

Clubs in Zone One include Koforidua-based GHATEL, Just Do It F/C of Koforidua, Suhum Matisco F/C, Bososu Academy Ladies and Ayoola Ladies of Akropong-Akuapim.

Clubs in Zone Two are made up of Healthy Queens FC of Asamankese, Nsawam Future Ladies and Akwatia Delorm Ladies F/C. Those in Zone Three are Kwaebibirem Queens of Asuom, Kwahu Ladies of Nkawkaw and Ideal Ladies of Akim Oda.

In an interview with the Secretary of the Eastern Regional Football Association, Mr Martin Bruce, he appealed to the management of all the clubs participating in the league to contact the Regional Secretariat of the Sports Council to complete the registration of their players.
