ES Setif chief advises Aduana Stars to forgo Champions League dream

The General Manager of ES Setif Djihad Boulahdjilet has told Aduana Stars to turn their attention to the CAF Confederation Cup competition and forget the Champions League as they will be eliminated from the competition in the return leg on Sunday.

The Fire Boys hold a narrow lead going into the game after recording a 1-0 against the Algarians in the first leg at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park last week

And the eight-time Algerian champions are aiming to turn the heat on the Ghanaian champions when they face off at the Stade Mai 8 on Sunday.

“Aduana can’t survive our attack and we’ll win by scoring at least four goals to qualify to the group stage. Truly, we will do everything possible to qualify to make Algerians happy again," Boulahdjilet told the media.

Boulahdjilet continued by rejecting reports the match will be played in an empty stadium as it has been reported in the media.

“It’s not true we will play behind closed doors as speculated in Ghana,” he said.

“There will be 20,000 supporters in the stands to cheer the players up and with their loud voices, Aduana can’t stand us.

“They should start planning for the Caf Confederation Cup playoffs rather because they won’t survive in the return leg," he added
