Eben Dida renders apology to Hearts

Accra, May 14, GNA - Eben Dida Armah, Accra Hearts of Oak's agile goal keeper has rendered an unqualified apology to the coach, management and supporters of the club for his misconduct and gross disrespect to the coach.

He said upon careful reflection over the matter, he regrets that kind of gross disrespect towards the coach and that it was not pre-meditated but it was more of his inability to exercise proper discretion.

Armah, in a letter of apology to the Head Coach of Hearts, Mr Ernst Middendorp copied to the Chairman, Board Secretary of Hearts and made available to the GNA Sports said he regrets the unfortunate incident that happened recently at the Legon training grounds of the club.

He said upon careful reflection over the matter, "I have no choice than to regret the matter and render my sincerest apologies to you personally, the management and numerous supporters of the Club who have never known nor associated me with such bad conduct for the almost 10 years that I have served the club."

Dida Armah added that "I make a personal promise that I will not repeat this again and also pledge to offer my best at all times as I have done previously."
