Some sections of Ebusua Dwarfs fans yesterday poured a liquid concoction believed to be urine on Ghana Premier League top scorer Victorien Adebayor.

This barbaric act happened during Inter Allies’ match week 12 away game with Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The fans who surprisingly found their way into the tunnel despite the presence of security personnel hence breaching the rules of the FA poured the liquid on the Nigerien international just before the two teams stepped onto the pitch.

The Nigerien international was asked to go back to the dressing room and take a shower before joining his teammates on the field.

This affected the angry 23-year-old as he could not have the best of games having missed several scoring opportunities in his side’s goalless stalemate at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Confirming the unpleasant act, Coach of Inter Allies, Tonny Lokko said: “Before the start of the game something happened on the blind side of everybody. They [Dwarfs fans] poured some concoction on him [Adebayor] and then he was flared up before the game so I think it affected his game on the field,” Coach Lokko confirmed in a post-match interview with StarTimes.
