The second edition of the Ghana Golf Awards slated for this Saturday, December 27, will see Ecobank Ghana Limited, Ostec Ghana Limited, Goldfields Ghana Limited and Airtel Ghana Limited, receiving awards on the night for their immense contribution to the development of golf.

These companies have over the years contributed to the development of Golf through sponsorship of many Golf competitions.

The event, which will take place at the Haven Court of the Trade Fair at exactly 18: 00 GMT, will see great personalities and dignitaries in attendance.

Amongst the dignitaries expected to grace the awards are life patron of the event Okyehene; Amoatia Ofori Panin, Sir Sam Jonah, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Mathew Quarshie, and CAL Bank Director, Frank Brako Adu Jnr.

The event will see these various categories receiving awards: Amateur Golfer of the year for male/ female, Most Improved Golfer for male/female, Most Promising Golfer for male/female, Junior Golfer of the year for male/female, Senior Golfer of the year for male/female, Pro Golfer of the year, Golf Personality of the year and the Golfer of the year 2014
