England attacker of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah, is close to sealing his transfer from Arsenal to Nottingham Forest.

The striker has this evening agreed on personal terms with Nottingham Forest ahead of the proposed move.

Talks between the two English Premier League clubs have steadily advanced in the last 12 hours and are now at the final stages.

Following the agreement of personal terms between Eddie Nketiah and Nottingham Forest, the transfer is expected to be completed in the next few hours.

Nketiah, who has scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal, was previously linked with a move to Marseille earlier in the summer. However, the two clubs could not agree on a transfer fee.

Once the deal is completed, Nottingham Forest will have Eddie Nketiah, Chris Wood, and Taiwo Awoniyi as the main strikers in the team. This will give the club a potent attack to compete in the 2024/25 football season.
