Ghanaian attacker Shadrach Eghan got on the score-sheet for Norwegian side Stabaek IF in a 5-0 triumph over Eliteserien rivals Lillestrøm in a mid-season friendly on Friday.
The 21-year-old scored on the 88th minute mark, after coming off the bench in the 80th minute, to underline his readiness for the second round of the Norwegian league.
He influentially initiated a counter-attack and positioned himself to reclaim a pass from Eirik Haugstad before picking his spot with a brilliant shot to the far corner.
Eghan has struggled to get game time at Stabaek since arriving on loan from Dutch side FC Twente as he has made just three appearances since the start of the league.
But scoring in the friendly to re-establish his readiness and send a message to Stabaek manager William McKinlay to hand him more playing form.
Dutch side Twente have reacquired a Netherlands work permit for the former Ghana U20 triallist and he will be eligible return to the Dutch league.
