Emmanuel Adjetey Stars for Charleston Battery

Ghana’s US based promising left back, Emmanuel Adjetey starred for his Charleston side in a pre-season game against West Bromwich Albion despite their 2-1 defeat.

The versatile defender marveled the over 5000 teaming crowd on board to watch their favorite club take on the Baggies ahead of next week’s season opener in the USL.

Seidu Berahino and Brown Ideye each scored in a hard earn 2-1 victory for the Premier League outfit.

The Ghanaian left back, who teamed up with Ferguson, Mueller and Obi Woodbine at the backline for the USL outfit that is yet to lose a home game for the past 27 matches.

The impressive Ghanaian lasted the entire duration despite a mass overhaul of personnel in the second half of the game.

Battery opens their USL campaign on Saturday at the Blackbaud stadium against Willimington at 7:30pm.
