Ghana forward Emmanuel Boateng is not having an easy start to the season in the Chinese Super League.

The former Levante hitman, who left for Dalian Yifang in the past winter market is not having the desired minutes in his new team.

After an impressive debut in his side’s 1-1 draw at Henan Jianye on the opening weekend of the top flight, 22-year-old has struggled to establish himself in the team.

He was dropped from the squad that suffered 1-2 defeat against Tianjin Teda on Sunday.

The Ghanaian has been out of the call in 2 of the 4 games that have been played in the league to date.

The adaptation to the Chinese Super League has not been easy for many players, but the feeling is that Boateng is not having the expected start in the Dalian team.

In spite of that, it should be remembered that with Levante he also suffered a complicated start and then showed his scoring ability and above all, his ability to work and contribute to the team.

The highlight of his career came last season when he scored a hat-trick against Barcelona, bringing his name to the limelight in football circles.
