Accra Hearts of Oak’s stalwart defender this afternoon signed a 1-year loan deal with a Turkish first division side, Sabbath Sports. The contract, which is expected to begin on January 23, this year mandates the player to heed to any national call to duty as and when his services would be needed.
Emmanuel Osei, who played for Accra Hearts of Oak during last year’s premier league season is a current player of the national under-23 team, the Black Meteors, and was among the squad the national side presented for the Olympic Games qualifiers against Zambia and Algeria. It will be recalled that the played in defence for Accra Hearts of Oak, together with Daniel Coleman, Daniel Oppong Dan Quaye, among others, and featured prominently in almost every match during last year’s league for the Phobian Club.
