Ghanaian winger Enoch Ebo Andoh is in danger of missing the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury while in action for Port Vale.

The 22-year-old had to be hurled off after just 14 minutes after colliding with an opponent in Port Vale’s 2-1 defeat to Colchester United in the English third tier.

Ebo Andoh who has been in fine form for his club was initially diagnosed to have damaged his anterior cruciate ligaments – an injury which threatens to keep him out of action for the remainder of the season.

“As it stands at the minute, it’s his ACL so ordinarily that’s an end of the season,” Port Vale manager Rob Page said.

“It’s not great news for him but he’s having a second opinion again.”
The club and representatives of the player are however seeking a second opinion from a specialist in London to know definitely if the Ghanaian’s injury is as serious as initially diagnosed.

This will be a massive blow for Enoch Andoh whose impressive exploits for Port Vale has drawn interest from clubs in the Premier League.
