Enyimba relocate to prepare for Hearts

The African champions have relocated to Bauchi to prepare for their African Super Cup match against Ghana's Accra Hearts of Oak.

It was learnt that the relocation to Bauchi was to give the coaches the chance to mould the array of new stars in Enyimba to a winning team for the battle against Ghanaians.

The team left for Bauchi on Tuesday.`

Meanwhile, most of the players who took part in the Champions League last year may return to the Aba team before the beginning of the 2005 football season, a source close to the chairman said.

Pleading anonymity, the source said that the players, who had been trying to move to clubs abroad, left their passport photographs with officials of the team, with a view to being registered for the coming season if they failed to secure lucrative offers from foreign teams.

Already, Omolade Ajibade, Ndidi Anumunu, Chibuzor Ozurumba, Joetex Frimpong and Eric Fasindo have all rejoined the team while others were still being awaited.
