Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ofori Antwi insists the club is heading in the right direction despite recent slumps.
The Porcupine warriors have struggled to replicate their monstrous form that has seen them win the league in the past three occasions.
But since the departure of Mas-Ud Dramani Kotoko have struggled for consistency.
Their woes were deepen by a defeat to sworn rivals Hearts of Oak to deny them their first trophy of the season but Antwi says despite the defeat they are heading in the right direction.
“Sometimes you don’t have to look at the results but the performance is really up there,” Antwi said.
“You look at the entire performance and you see that we were the better side but unfortunately the results did not go in our favor.
“We have improved in performance and I am sure that after that the rest will follow.”
