Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante made his debut in the Danish top-flight league by coming off the bench to play for Nordsjælland in their 1-1 stalemate with Randers FC on Friday.

The 27-year-old completed his switch from Norwegian side Stabaek IF this week and completed three training sessions with his new club.

Manager Kasper Hjulmand introduced the former West African Football Academy player in the 62nd minute as replacement for Norwegian starlet Mathias Rasmussen.

Ghanaian Godsway Donyoh scored the hosts' goal in the 64th minute to earn them a point.

Former Manchester City starlet Collins Tanor was unused by the hosts.
