Ernest Nyarko joins CD Aves on a year deal

Ghana Ghana

Ghana’s Ernest Nyarko has signed a year deal with Portuguese second-tier side, CD Aves with an option for a renewal after completing a successful medical.

The former Mighty Jets attacker signing for CD Aves is part of the club’s quest of building a formidable team ahead of the upcoming season.

Ernest Nyarko in an exclusive interview with Allsports.com.gh from Aves, Portugal, said his primary target is to help CD Aves seal a qualification into the Portuguese top-flight division.

“I’m elated that I have finally joined CD Aves, I was on the verge of joining Farense but the deal fell through so when Aves came I decided to sign for them and my primary target is to help my new club to qualify into the Portuguese league because that has been the ambition of the club,” Nyarko said.

Nyarko anticipates stern competition in his new found club but he believes with his quality he can make it into the first team of the club.

“I know they have good players in the team and I anticipate stern competition from the players in the team, though getting into the first team of the club will not come easy but with my quality I can make it happened because playing in the first team week in week out will obliviously make you a good player,” he added.
