Essien predicted the world cup fracas

Moses Armah has fingered AC Milan star Michael Essien in his fisticuff with Sulley Muntari at the World Cup in Brazil.

The Ghana Football Association Executive Committee and Black Stars management committee member was punched twice by Muntari before replying which sent the AC Milan player to the ground.

He told the World Cup Commission of Inquiry that Essien had predicted that players would physically attack management members because their appearance fees were delaying.

“Essien said we had disappointed them-we the management-and said maybe this is the time the players will start beating we the management and I was looking at my colleagues face and I was shocked,” Armah said.

“And then one Mr Felix Ansong then came out that I don’t think you Sulley and Essien, I have managed you people at Liberty Professionals all long and I don’t think you people can make that effort to beat and then we all laughed.”
