Essien to profit from injuries to Montolivo, Van Ginkel

Michael Essien could start for AC Milan in their next game at Hellas Verona following injuries to Montolivo and Van Ginkel.

Essien, 31, has endured difficult life under Pippo Inzaghi since the start of the season where he has made cameo appearances for the Rosonerri.

The Ghanaian international will profit from the injury of the duo and the suspension of De Jong ahead of their trip to the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi stadium in Verona.

The former Chelsea ace replaced compatriot Sulle Muntari with two minutes left as they dispatched off Chievo Verona 2-0 at the San Siro over the weekend.
